Return Policy

Server Evolution aims to offer a hassle-free and painless shopping experience to its customers. We make sure that the experience is straightforward and seamless; we work for total transparency between the website and its customers. However, some situations can arise where, regardless of our efforts, the customer might face an issue related to the product (s). Customers may wish to return the faulty product (s). For such situations, Server Evolution insists on raising an RMA (return merchandise authorization) request after agreeing to the terms and conditions that are mentioned below.

The following refund and policy document describes various situations for the return of any product for any authentic reason. Please bear in mind that the terms' business customer' and 'consumer' are used for two separate entities within the following document.

Please note that you are responsible for informing us about faulty items or inconsistent orders within two days of its arrival.

The Terms:

  1. The term 'Consumer' applies to the individual that isn't representing any business or profession.

  2. 'Business Customer' refers to an individual who is not a consumer.

The Cancellation Policy

Server Evolution allows its customers to cancel their orders via email before the order is dispatched. The customer can cancel their order for any reason with any additional cancellation charges by emailing the PO number of their order receipt. However, if the order has already been dispatched, then customers have to pay a 50% restocking fee.

In case of a cancellation, when you receive the canceled order, you are required to leave it unopened on receipt. After that, the customer is responsible for arranging shipment of the canceled order within 14 days of arrival. Please ensure to return the order in the same condition as it was received in otherwise, customers are liable to pay a 50% restocking fee.

Before the order is sent back, make sure the product packaging is undamaged, the product is reusable, and contains all accessories, software, manuals, warranty cards otherwise, customers are held responsible for missing items.

Server Evolution does not allow cancellation of the orders that are shipped directly from the manufacturers (s).

The Return of Non-faulty Items

At our sole discretion, if Server Evolution accepts the faulty item, the customer is liable to send the item back within 14 days of delivery with a written agreement. It's the customers' responsibility that the faulty item is packed in the original packaging with all its components and accessories in reusable condition. Server Evolution may only accept a return if the product is returned in mint condition that is reusable and resaleable.

Every non-faulty and an unwanted item is applicable for a 50% restocking fee, depending on the product condition and cancelation reason. If the error is because of Server Evolution, then the components must be returned in the reusable condition, and the customer will not be charged any restocking fee. The fault may have occurred during delivery or packaging, and for that, Server Evolution takes responsibility.

Terms of Return

The term of return is that the item shall be sent back in the original packaging, with all components, the receipt, warranty card, manuals, and anything else received with the product. The item should be in its original and undamaged packaging when it is sent.

The Return of Faulty Items with Warranty

In the case where customers receive a faulty product, they are requested to initiate an RMA request by agreeing to the terms and conditions of the RMA form. The form requires customers to submit order number, date of purchase, the serial number of the faulty product, and warranty details. If the faulty product has a valid warranty, then the Server Evolution engineers will guide you remotely to resolve your issue using the warranty.

If the faulty product continues to cause problems, then Server Evolution will issue an RMA number after the customer follows the RMA procedure below. The RMA procedure will ensure the return of the product. Once Server Evolution receives the item, we will test the product and verify the issue to fix it. In case the issue can't be resolved, we will send a replacement, which may or may not be equal to the original in regards to the specification and model.

How to Initiate the RMA

Please follow the RMA procedure of returning products:

  • You must adhere to all the terms and conditions before initiating an RMA request. Customers must return the canceled item, no matter what the reason, to Server Evolution.

  • Customers are liable to ensure that the item or order is in its original condition before returning the product. Ensure the product is in its original packaging with the receipt, components, and box that is undamaged.

  • The customer is liable to repack and send the item in its original packaging after they receive an RMA number. If the case or box is damaged, the customer will be charged with a 50% restocking fee.

  • Please do not write or damage the outside of the original casing or packaging.

  • Please visibly display the RMA number so that it can be easily seen on the casing. If Server Evolution cannot locate the RMA number, the return will be canceled.

  • Server Evolution will send customers a label on which they are liable to write the return address, and that is to be placed on the outside of the case.

  • The damaged items will be tested for any damage or fault once they are received at Server Evolution. If the item is faulty or damaged, the customer will be issued a new replacement within ten days of the receipt.

Goods Damaged Due to Transit

The customers are liable to sign the order as damaged in case a customer is delivered a damaged product upon delivery. Once they sign it off, they're liable to call or email the Server Evolution website.

Please make sure to report any faulty and damaged goods within two days of delivery.

Server Evolution Will Not Replace Item Under the Following Conditions:

The return of faulty products will be disregarded if the following conditions aren't met:

  • The products aren't faulty as per the description provided by the customer on the RMA form.

  • The item was harmed or damaged by the customer.

  • The customer used the product in an unintended way, i.e., for example, used it with the wrong software.

  • If the product is missing any components or items related to it.

Server Evolution Holds the Right to Charge 50% Stocking Fee When:

Server Evolution has the right to charge a 50% stocking fee upon order return if:

  • The order was returned with damaged packaging.

  • The order or item is found to have missing components, accessories, or reading material.
